North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The Yankees are bad. Their pitching is trash. Stroman bytched and complained like Devers in Boston, saying he was a starter. But he's been shyt. Nobody can go more than 5 innings let alone 7.

Yankees will keep hitting and the bull pen will get praise early on.
Eventually the bullpen will get worn out. Teams will eventually catch up to them

The Yankees inability to develop pitchers for so long is :snoop:

Hopefully they trade for a quality arm and not an injured one

Getting Gil and Schmidt back will be a big help to the pitching. A few guys in the pen won’t be there once those two return.

And problem is, every Yankee pitcher that came back from injury was never the same. Cole was maybe the exception, but look what happened to Severino. Look what happened to Ching Ming Wang. Joba Chamberlain. :mjlol:

Not for nothing, that’s probably why Soto bounced. They don’t even trade for good pitching prospects.

Schmidt isn’t dealing with something major. Gil won’t be back until around July but on that note, they’d probably benefit huge from trading for a legit starter.

Soto left because he was chasing the biggest payday he could possibly get and his agent was only interested in using the Yankees to drive up the price that he could get Cohen to pay. Only 3 other pro athletes on this continent have gotten even a $400 million contract and he passed up $760 million when it was the highest offer on the table to join a team that shares a division with the Phillies & Braves while sharing a league with the dodgers & Ohtani which effectively kills any chances he has of winning an MVP award. Not really anything the Yankees could’ve done about that.
