All those Smallville cats are basically looking for work :laff:

That one chick did the Chun Li movie then got blacklisted from doing movies. I know she was on some CW show that ended in the Summer. Hartley is like the only one on a major network (NBC) doing something
Everyone tends to forget this man was on Smallville
latest

And he's been eating and caking good currently and for over 12 years on Supernatural

Yeah but i was just referring to the main cast
Still I wants to rewatch it, Michael Rosenbaum wasa good ass Lex Luthor. Those early seasons where he was Clark's best friends but slowly becoming evil but his friendship with Clark was the only thing that was keeping him from the darkside had me :mjcry: when Lex dropped this quote on Clark....

"I don't know, Clark. You were the only real friend I ever had, but somewhere along the way, you saw me as your nemesis and turned your back on me." – Lex Luthor to Clark Kent in Nemesis

.... I was :pacspit:Clark Kent ever since

Lex was too obsessive over Clark tho. :yeshrug:

Some of the hate he received was unnecessary tho and dude was fighting his destiny over being like his father or worse.:francis:

To be fair Lex had a good reason to be obsessed with Clark, ever since Clark saved him in the first season Lex sensed Clark was different somehow like Doakes was with Dexter

:dahell: He was on it for 1 season and not even every episode of the season he doesn't count into what he was saying. They only reaon I think the he was even in the opening was because I think they thought he was going to stick around longer, but Supernatural came out. Plenty of people that got started on CW are eating now.

I dont think she got blacklisted from doing movies considering she was a finalist for Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol.
Kristin Kreuk Testing As Tom Cruise's Other Mission: Impossible 4 Sidekick - CINEMABLEND

Her thing is she insists on doing projects mainly with Canadian production teams which is basically asking to be in purgatory (Filming BATB, smalltime flicksSpace Milkshake, Ecstacy, Vampire and doing the pilot for Ron Moore's 17th Precient which was a show with potential). Same deal with Erica Durance mostly dong Lifetime movies and Saving Hope.

Most of the Smallville actors have been doing steady work since they left the show but its usually low profile shows in Canada and small indie films or cable shows that no one sees (Rosenbaum is on Impastor on TV Land, John Schnider on Haves and Have nots on Harpo, Annette O' Toole on Halt, Catch and Fire, Allison Mack on Wilfred, American Oddessy, the Following). Welling has been doing quiet small appearances in movies (Parkland, Draft Day, The Choice. He was supposed to have his own show on CBS this year that he produced playing a cop, kinda same deal Kristin had with the final season of BATB and Erica with Saving Hope where they give them the producer reigns). Laura Vandevoort and Justin Hartley and the Ashmore kid have probably done the most steady low pro TV work

I dont think its an acting issue, there's worse actors getting work steady, I honestly think working on Smallville for 7-10 seasons burned a lot of them out and lost interest in doing stuff. Welling and Kreuk kinda hedged on their work and turned down stuff. Rosenbaum did stuff that was not major just to work with friends (Breaking In, Back in the Day)

That show really had terrible writing and when you look at these new superhero shows even at their best they make the same mistakes of repetitive arcs and I think that turns them off grinding and doing everything. Most have got insanely paid in royalties for the show so thats why they are all looking at producer based stuff funding their own projects (Which never gets released)
