Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector. That role demanded the most acting imo

He wasn't even in the movie that long.
But he left the biggest impression for his performance. That's how good he was. He couldn't rely heavily on intimidating costumes and special effects like the other roles listed

He still made the movie what it was. The same with Heath Ledgers Joker. He wasn't in The Dark Knight that much either but the portrayal was so great it made the movie

The Joker had quite a bit of screen time. Definitely more than Hopkins did in Lambs probably double the time Hopkins had.
