Narcolepsy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Educate and then neg yourselves brehs. :martin:

"Cataplexy is episodic loss of muscle function, ranging from slight weakness such as limpness at the neck or knees, sagging facial muscles,[14] weakness at the knees often referred to as "knee buckling",[15] or inability to speak clearly, to a complete body collapse.[14] Episodes may be triggered by sudden emotional reactions such as laughter, anger, surprise, or fear, and may last from a few seconds to several minutes. The person remains conscious throughout the episode. In some cases, cataplexy may resemble epileptic seizures"

"May resemble" =/= seizure :russ: Did you even read you own link?

And also notice how it says epileptic right before seizure further reinforcing that seizures are linked to Epilepsy not Narcolepsy:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

and i'm the one that first made daps/rep thread when the warriors took their first L to the bucks. i could show it to you, but fukk boy mods merged into a thread with 2 posts. :yeshrug:

plus i prefer to keep my hate to fakkit klay thompson that's reacting like a bytch in that video after disappearing on his team again(he hit that final three, but that's when the game was basically out of reach, and even then he fukked up right after). :lolbron:

Breh, you're making yourself look Nastradamus levels of stupid:

"The term narcolepsy derives from the French word narcolepsie created by the French physician Jean-Baptiste-Édouard Gélineau by combining the Greek νάρκη (narkē, "numbness" or "stupor"),[8] and λῆψις (lepsis), "attack" or "seizure"."

They are not the same thing:dahell:

One of my best friends has a seizure condition.

Sleep episode:

Seizure:

From the DSM: the official reference book for psychiatry/psychology

DSM IV - TR
(cautionary statement)

A. Irresistible attacks of refreshing sleep that occur daily over at least 3 months.

B. The presence of one or both of the following:

(1) cataplexy (i.e., brief episodes of sudden bilateral loss of muscle tone, most often in association with intense emotion)
(2) recurrent intrusions of elements of rapid eye movement (REM) sleep into the transition between sleep and wakefulness, as manifested by either hypnopompic or hypnagogic hallucinations or sleep paralysis at the beginning or end of sleep episodes

C. The disturbance is not due to the direct physiological effects of a substance(e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or another general medical condition

Not a single mention of seizure:DKFewtch:
