Kobe is the best chucker in NBA history. :pachaha: nikka has the worst shot selection I've ever seen for a superstar. :scusthov: The only think he might have over Jordan is MAYBE 3pt. shooting. :stopitslime:

that about it. everything else is Jordan. the only thing they may be equal in is creativity. they both have made some amazing shots/moves.

Except for this one little 7'2 problem

Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar_Lipofsky.jpg

Numbers don't lie, especially gaudy numbers like 38,000 points

It would take Jordan another 2-3 season playing a full 82 games averaging 30ppg to surpass Kareem. Kobe will pass :mjpls: , but he wont pass Kareem, and probably not the Mailman. I'd like to see him to, but his body wont make it.

nah I thnk he's gon pass Kareem as well

Kobe will play till he's 40.

Definately MJ, playing thru the Bad Boy Pistons Era where they didn't even call fouls like they do today

Mike was just a beast in all aspects of the game

Kobe may be the closest thing to MJ we'll ever see though

smh.....you talkin bout a 6'2" Joe Dumars guarding him :scusthov:

Kobe woulda beasted on them chumps something crazy.

Jordan is lucky he played in a WEAK defensive era with white boys like Craig Ehlo being considered stoppers.

Phil Jackson disagrees with you. He said Kobe is more talented offensively than MJ.

Im going with Jordan. Competition was stronger.

:childplease:

Craig Ehlo? Joe Dumars? John Starks? :scusthov:

Kobe woulda averaged 50ppg in the 80s with all them short niccas and white boys guarding MJ.

Yall know MJ at 6'6" was considered a big guard back then because everyone else was 6'4" or under.

Scoring more points doesn't mean you're a better scorer.

As of the end of this year (all these numbers are just quick estimates...can get exact if needed), KB has played 90 more games & 1300 more minutes than MJ. He has taken 70 more FT's & 2,700 more 3P's, while making 80 more FT's & 900 more 3P's than Mike. On the flip side, he's made 1,900 less shots, taken 1,800 less shots, while scoring a little under 3,000 less points.

So Kobe has relied much more on the 3 than Jordan, yet in more games and minutes, still has yet to reach/pass him in points scored. Oh, and that's with MJ missing almost 2 full seasons (1 injury, 1 back from retirement/suspension), missing another entire year in the middle of him becoming [Morpheus] The One [/Morpheus] True Basketball Jesus (R/S), and playing a more reduced role in his WSH years.

I hate getting into this argument, cause no matter what is said, you Kobe stans will never admit that he's inferior to anyone, yet there is no basketball player that will ever eclipse Jordan.

Kobe is an all time great. He'll go down as the 2nd best 2 guard ever, and arguably 2nd best guard (depending on how one feels about Magic) ever. That's not, nor should it be, up for debate. For some reason, that's just not enough for you guys. Re-read what I just typed, and explain to me why that's not enough for you? Y'all must see Jordan in your nightmares every night huh?

He is not, has never been, and will never be a better anything than Mike. And yes, that includes being a scorer.

Right and you can speak on this because you witnessed it all. You are 29 years old, afterall right? Or hold up...is it 25? Nah wait...19? I don't know, what backstory have you invented for yourself this time Ben Button?

A weak defensive era?

Jordan played during an era that included Dikembe Mutombo, Hakeem Olajuwan, and Gary Payton

Unfortunatley a lot of people don't even remember kareem is the leading scorer over jordan....a lot of people don't even remember bill russell has more rings then jordan....kobe gets ring #7 and passes jordan:childplease: who the fuk can dispute he's the greatest scorer...greatest champion? Outside of the few who don't pretend bill russell and kareem never happened.
