You can get a guy like that from the d-league.

Ideal Fits:

-Rodney Stuckey
-Evan Turner

Both are very good combo guards who can score and handle that would be great. Would definitely have to give something up, like Barnes. Really though, Barnes doesn't really fit well with this team right now, Green been outplaying him, and his stock is still somewhat high, might not be the worst move to let him go. (His next contract would become an issue anyway)

Then theres Kyle Lowry and Jeremy Lin. Lowry is probably off the market since the raps are doing so well now, but Lin would be a good addition.

I wouldn't be really thrilled about Hinrich or Miller tbh. Miller is a very good veteran who is smart, savvy, can handle and create along with some good offense but doesn't give that scoring energy like a real 6th man. Hinrich is the worst option being discussed.

Wow this bench is beyond trash Not even trying to be funny, but I think we'd get better production if we just used the starting lineup of our D-league squad as our bench.

I would have to think Barnes would still have some value. He's our best trade asset. We have a TPE, which could be valuable too.

Barnes really isn't working, he's just not cutting it on this squad. Before teams figure out how poorly he's been playing, I think they should deal him for a valuable bench scorer. Think about it, Green has been better than him so far. Really, I could be wrong and could be a star down the line, but he isn't doing anything for this team now, and with the right piece this team is in serious contention for a title.

Like I said, get a scorer like Stuckey, Turner, Lowry

What does Barnes even do? He had another disappearing act last night, like 1 point. All he does is shoot spot ups (which hes decent at) and scores occasionally in transition or on a mismatch. He can't even hit FTs. Im saying, down the line he can be good but right now he isn't and this team is a piece away from immediate, legit title contention.

Lowry isn't just a backup PG, hes been playing like a borderline top 10 PG this year. Which means its unrealistic we get him anyway. What are we gonna do if Curry goes down? Start Iggy at PG every game? Cause sure as hell cant start TD or Bazemore. Even if its not a PG, need someone who can handle.

But combo guards who can handle and score like Tuner and Stuckey would be perfect.
