But still can do a lot better. He's not an efficient scorer at this point in his career. You can't have his shooting touch but be a career 43% shooter. He stil has a lot of room for improvement

He's on a mission this season. He's shooting a lot better and getting looks closer to the basket. Klay will get a max contract if he keeps playing at this pace. There's less than and handful of 2 guards in the league that are good at both offense and defense. He's in that minority.

I pity the team that gives him a max contract. He's simply not worth it. He's not even better than KMart in his prime.

You have to take his defense into account. I said he could get a max because Paul George got one. I can see a team like the Lakers offering him the max.

They'll have options and Klay being an RFA won't be one of them.

It'll take a max deal to get Klay from us. If any team want to make an offer we won't match it'll have to be Harden type of money. If he makes any all defense team he's a guaranteed max player. I wouldn't be shocked if he made all defense 3rd team this season. I've seen 2 guys in the last 2 years get max deals and both averaged less than 20 ppg.
If Eric Gordon can get a max so can Klay.
