Lavar Arrington gave a, not the most coherent, argument for this last week on his show.

I agree with it. Should start in HS. In fact, I feel sports is a good way to teach kids other math and statistics.

is that offered as a program, or just a string of electives?

:yeshrug: i took em as electives
University of Alabama Undergraduate Catalog 2010-12
but if you wanna major in sports major in kinesiology. almost the same thing

Kinesiology isnt the same thing.

I took some electives in it as well. Its more about fitness and health. A lot of people who major in Kinesiology end up being physical therapists or physical instructors.

What dude is suggesting is something different to that.

real talk, if schools can start to funnel kids into fields they want to be in, why cant you do it with athletes?

nobody says shyt when a kid wants to play the saxophone, and goes to a school with a music conservatory, and takes courses in music theory
