1) Nope gun murders are down. Gun deaths total rise due to suicide, which isn't a gun problem, but a mental health issue that isn't caused by guns at all. And they have not been the norm since the 90's, because it wasn't mandatory until 2005/2006. Its because of the child safety law, and they are called cable locks. And they are mandatory on NEW guns, not used guns or guns not sold by a federally licensed dealer. Looks like you don't know what you're talking about!
4-Never wrote anything about banning guns, read correctly, but for some reason you aren't doing that. There are limits when dealing with cars, such as speed, type of tires that are mandatory for street driving, quality of gas is regulated(no more unleaded), regulation of wearing seat belts, regulation of making seat belts mandatory in cars, regulations of the amount of pollutants released. Because of regulations cars are safer, and quality of cars are better. Again, gun deaths are up, you are speaking on violence as it relates to criminals
5-Exercising your right to own something that is made to kill, means exactly that, proving you are capable of exercising your right. I take it you don't mind schizophrenic people to own guns, as its their right?

5-There is more to it then because of guns, there is quality of life, income equality, and more that I'm forgetting. NYC has the lowest crime, and its a city of over 8,000,000 people. I do agree they are ridiculous with the gun laws, but I use that to show it has nothing to do with owning guns keeping an area more safe. I do agree the war on drugs is a big cause of gun violence, but it aint the only reason. I typed my reasons, not doing it again, because you seem to not be reading what I wrote, only what you want to see so you can argue on it, because you are ignoring much of what I typed to prove your point.
