The problem is people just see guns as toys, not realizing one bullet can change everyone's life. Our society just takes gun violence as a joke or not serious until it happens to them. We play video games with focus on shooting, the news talk about killings all day, and movies involve them like its a normal thing to shoot guns at people, so when people get a gun they feel powerful, until something like this happens. Look at how the chick was acting, she was acting like it was a toy, and shyt was a joke, she forgot the gun was real, and aint no restarts. Other countries may feel the same, but they don't have access to so much guns like we do.

Something has to be done about guns being all over the place.

This is why we need gun reform. All the loopholes need to be closed.

A big loophole in the South is open carry. If you see someone open carrying you should get as far away from them as possible.

I've talked about this on here before but now that I have a CCL I know even more. In open carry states you don't need ANY training to carry a pistol. Just carry the gun in plain view and it's legal. It's literally the dumbest, unsafe law in the United States and a big reason I'm leaving this country once my financial situation gets a little better.

To have a CCL I had to go through 10 hours in the classroom, shoot 75% or better from a certain amount of yards and pass a written test. Sadly, most people out here ain't do any of that shyt. They think life is a rap video.

Never, never, never, ever point a firearm at anything you don't want to shoot.

Always clear a firearm when you pick it up.

If you do pull the trigger, be prepared for whatever comes with it legally.

That is the worst logic I've ever heard.
Fact is if people stopped being infantilized about guns, and educated openly about them and their dangers, shyt like this would be a lot less likely to happen.
The people who act the most foolish around guns are typically the one who were never raised around them and taught to have a healthy respect of them, they just see guns in video games and movies.
So education would do far more to combat what you are talking about, than restricting law abiding citizen's ability to acquire them.
