Nah man. Listen if you're against using the death penalty because you feel there are judicial flaws due to historical examples, then that's a fine, logical position to have. That being said, you can believe the prior concept and still think that this filth deserves death.
I think you honestly need to picture the crime that was has occurred here. Someone took a sledgehammer and pounded in a 6 month old's head. Have you ever been around a child that age? It's utterly helpless and trusting. Someone looked at that little human being and decided that smashing it's skull with a sledgehammer and then slitting the throat was a worthwhile decison. Don't just read the words, picture it.
That person is beyond rehabilitation. The same way I can look at someone with a chronic disease, terminal disease, and/or being in a brain-dead state in coma, and think that person would be better off not existing due to their state, I can have the same logical position towards this animal.
Of course, there needs to be a full investigation and trial just in case she was framed or is taking the blame for her son/husband. But if she's found guilty? Just euthanize her.
To me, not all murders/rapes are on equal levels. This amounts to the severest crime there is in my opinion.
Eliminating her from occupying spacetime as a sentient and conscious being is probably in the interest of the entire human race.
If you read the story without a pic,,,, you still would know who did this horrendous act. If a case like this happens in a modern nation - we already know.

I think you posted the wrong story. That story has a black man as the alleged perpetrator and according to @Blackking that can't be.
