I'm sorry, I meant piece of shyt country when compared to the Scandinavian countries. Which is true. I love the US, it's home. I consider myself American, but I have children to raise and I have to do what is best for them, which is a reason I don't shyt on these immigrants trying to come here. Can you blame them? I sure as hell don't.

She feels good about it. Going to be a culture if it happens but we're prepared if we are lucky to be accepted.

I think America gets a bad rep... especially after having traveled a bit.
Most European countries are barely functional and they're looked as being the pinnacle of society/culture. Their governments are just wow... I mean really . That's me on the outside looking in, the gripes I heard from people who lived there... that's a mini essay in itself just thinking about it.

Immigration is a non issue to me. I understand poverty and what they're dealing with,. Wow could I fault them for wanting a better life.

It was the wrong time of year really. I have friends who live there. I'll probably visit next time I can holiday. I'd really like to do a road trip through each country. They have a lot of the same issues we complain about and some others that they create for themselves. It's funny. A lot of my friends are Scandinavian, strangely enough the majority of them live in America or England though, not sure what's to be said about that. I'd imagine it's more than me just living/ having connections to there.

What are these "most" countries you're talking about? And what do you mean by "barely functional"?
