No breh. Base it on the Saturday morning cartoon with sonic and the freedom fighters fighting Robotnik and trying to save Möbius. There's more stuff to mine there and I think the sonic comics are still on that plot thread so that's what I'd do

All I ask is that they get Jaleel white to do the voice. Of course I'm assuming they won't but I'd probably flip my shyt if they did. Similarly to how transformer fans were hype when Peter Cullen came in to voice Optimus
