The weirdest shyt is that farmers are a pretty tiny constituency, and they're mostly concentrated in solid red states and places the Republicans aren't necessarily fighting for. Plus most of the rest of the country doesn't exactly have any insight on their needs.

So for McConnell to say, "We're gonna shut down the government cause FARMERS!", when 90% of the country ain't even thinking about farmers like that? Huh.

It’s a legit question. There’s only so many hours in a day to work on issues and vote.

They need to be throwing everything at the wall instead of rolling over.
I legit think the two month kick down the road is exactly for that reason..... but let’s see.

The funniest thing is they’re playing these games with our money. It’d be one thing if they were being paid by some private entity (which is actually what’s been happening for a while), but, at least theoretically, they work for us. Not only do we pay their salaries and platinum level health care packages, etc., but the billions they give to Israel and the farmers and bankers and airlines? That’s our money.

And they play around and don’t wanna help those of you who’ve lost your jobs and are struggling. I’m really surprised people haven’t physically harmed more of them.
