Nets are gonna have a tough time building a roster
One of the most poorly constructed rosters I've seen
Crazy wing depth but Claxton is pretty much the only big on the roster lol and while he's very good he's also skinny AF and they also don't have a PG. They should not bring back Dinshyttie. He's a horrible player. D'Angelo Russell type that might have some good numbers on paper but when you watch the game you can tell they're actually shyt

Need a new GM. They will be a contender in 3 yrs max.

I don’t agree. The problem is they have a head coach who doesn’t know how to maximize his roster for the second year in a row. Playing Joe Harris and Patty Mills over Cam Thomas and Sumner was malpractice. And he got an extension.

But they have all the assets to go get whoever they want. Their biggest issue is Ben’s contract. They’re actually only a couple years away. But they have to turn those picks into a superstar. They have to go get Dame and ideally a stretch 4 and back up center.

They're closer than you think. I actually think they're one all-star level player away. They have a great supporting cast with a bunch of versatile wings who can play defense and hit the 3.

Plus the KD trade kinda shifted the balance of power back west. bucks will be there but they’re getting older with no real young guys coming up in their system, Harden may be leaving Philly, who knows what happens with Jaylen Brown in Boston.

The only other team that can make that leap to the big dogs in the East would be the Knicks lol

These playoffs gonna raise all my blood levels.

Y’all dont understand how bad I hate the Knicks.

How Mobley got more DPOY votes than Claxton is crazy. He didn’t show me shyt on that end.

Ben's contract is not an issue. For lack of a better term, they kinda have to treat him like he's dead. It's like saying Lonzo Ball is affecting Chicago's ability to sign people. It really isn't.

They have 2 picks this year. Marks has to hit them outta the park and go forth with the idea that they won't be stashed in Long Island.

Harris can't be back next season. If they have to be moved for a worse deal with 2 years left, do that. It's hard to find a bad deal like that unless you want Duncan Robinson's awful deal.

Another option I guess could be tryna go after John Collins. Worst case, Jonathan Isaac (though Orlando won't want more picks this year).

Keep Finney-Smith OR O'Neale. Keeping both is overkill.

its going to take players too you know. Can have Jabari and KJ Martin in addition.

Take the rebuild path.

I’m following y’all and y’all local media seem to believe y’all not even goin resign Cameron Johnson. He was arguably yall best player this series. if you not goin resign him but keep dimwittie and keep paying Simmons, you really are just content with 14th pick. Y’all were a below .500 team after the trades. You only made the playoffs because the trades happened late and you can’t improve the team…
One huge problem with the rebuild path:

next year's freshman class is projected to be all-time level bad.

Ben’s contract is a problem because Tsai has shown there are limits to what he is willing to spend and if you’re trading for someone like Dame, I imagine that you would have to move his contract.

There is a chance Isaac is waived. I absolutely go for him. He’s a defensive stud. I want someone from the pistons too.
