Im actually okay with them dropping a game within tbe next couple since they proved it against the east best teams. Don't get me wrong I want them to win but when the win streak gets long it becomes more about maintaining the win streak than playing good injury/risk free basketball.
For example the nets went into Indiana with like 3 games in a row and rested all their players because they needed a break and felt they could drop a game. Do you think the nets would have done that if they were sitting on like 14 wins in a row? Probably not. Then it exerts more effort on our top players and you risk getting an injury. Same thing happened with the warriors in 2016 when they won 72. They talked about how exhausting it was trying to maintain that 24 game win streak and it hampered curry by the playoffs.
