I understand. May you be blessed with many butter biscuits in your future.
You dont know how this industry works man.

I have to play it safe and work it low before i get to a point where I have little to lose.

Some of yall just dont get it man
:snoop:
....i actually have been working hard to get more visibilty for black artists in edm/electronic music. Ive actually spoken out heavily on the lack of representation of black producers and DJs. You havent been in the situations I've been in. The same rooms I've been. You gotta play chess. It sucks.

@DrX is one of my biggest inspirations as far as posters go

I dont tap dance on twitter...or on social media in general.

shyt go through my tweet history.

http://twitter.com/temisanadoki

It wouod be different if black people were supporting my music like that...but unfortunately thats not the case. I worked so hard to change this.

And Ive spoken on race in electronic music and music heavily in the past.

Temisan Adoki – Exclusive Interview

And I have been one of the few black musicians who have publically called out vice, complex, and pitchfork.
(I dont follow them on twitter...and Ive actually declined an interview for Thump).

I respect you as a poster but you need to slow your goddamn role calling me a "tap-dancer".

If you feel a way about me calling you a tap dancer, re read the OP.

This post is even more despicable than the first because now you're blaming Black people for not supporting you as much as white folks suggesting that you'd continue your rhetoric had it not been for Black people not supporting you.

Reevaluate your posts on this matter man, you're looking terrible right now.

If your music is really taking off like that on a professional level then you need to have the mods delete your account and all your post. Just create a new account to lurk with.

You could've said some Outland bullshyt just trollling that could come back to haunt you
Yea..
I dont think I would ever reach this point. I kind of just did music with the idea that it was just going to be a hobby and never really expected anything to come from it.
You my mans on here and all but why switch up? I say what I say and my face is all over this site with no regard
Im not switching up. Im still the same stand up individual but now my name is on releases that are in stores in the US and EU....its different then just being known on the coli.

IT AIN'T ABOUT TAP DANCING. YOU JUST GOTTA KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP. ONCE YOU REACH A CERTAIN STATUS YOU HAVE TO BACK UP AND LET THE LIL HOMIES PUT WORK IN. YOU CAN SPEAK OUT. YOU JUST CAN'T BE AS RECKLESS.

THIS GOES IN JUST ABOUT EVERY ARENA. WHEN GANG MEMBERS GET ON, THE HOMIES DON'T EXPECT YOU TO BE ON THE STREET BEING ACTIVE. YOU'RE MORE USEFUL GETTING THAT MONEY. THE SAME APPLIES HERE. YOU CAN CALL IT c00nING BUT IF THE BROTHER CAN DO SOME GOOD WITH THE MONEY IT IS MORE BENEFICIAL TO US FOR HIM TO GET THAT MONEY.

Exactly. My thing since I was doing this especially since 2007/2008 was to put on more black artists, DJs, and producers. I wanted to get to the point where I could have some money and influence to actually influence change in the world. I figured I'd might as well do it with music since that was something I was already good at and had success with.
