It’s a contract thing... WB seems to think ppl are too stupid to differentiate a Batman on TV and Batman on film.... they’ve finally allowed Superman to occasionally appear on TV since he’s not so much their bread and butter any more

The Joker should’ve had a bigger role. Whoever that actor is has bodied that for 2-3 years now with the material he’s been given.

I remember when that "The Batman" cartoon was originally airing and they could not have any of the villains that were going be featured in "Batman Begins" on it.

Just finished watching the finale. End of an era. :mjcry: Wish it would've lasted another season but I enjoyed the ones they gave us. Been watching Southland and Ben Mckenzie in that. Don't know what any of the other actors or actresses are in. Gonna miss this show regardless. Now to await the next Batman adventure.

I get why they went with new actors for batman and selina but it didn't feel like their scene together mattered because of it. If they were gonna end it I rather them not even have a time jump. But whatever I still enjoyed the show overall. Dude always kills it at joker tho can't lie.
That was the same actor in the Batman suit.
I think that's why they never actually showed him besides that real quick last scene.
And Lili Simmons was a perfect pick to replace the little girl who played Selina.
They need to give her a spinoff.

That was a terrible decision to air this opening night of Endgame. This finale came and went under the radar... not to mention that it wasn’t that good. It should’ve been a 2 parter

Yea they bungled the ending, but I don't blame the showrunners. Fox should have gave them a proper 16-18 episode season and least flesh out Gotham City 10 years later. They rushed all the villians and you have no idea how Batman got to where he got. It was really just slapped together and it would have been better had you had the proper chance to reintroduce everyone.

That and the DC embargo screwed the season finale up. They could not use batman or joker names on the show.
