Yeah but Bruce wasn't like that before his folks died. That's what put him down that path. I agree it shouldn't take him that long to show signs, but it's not like he can turn like that so quickly. Takes time and multiple years of pent up rage. What prob made him so crazy when he got older was probably cuz he held it in for years. I do expect him to have random outbursts soon within the next coupe years like getting into more fights and shyt.

How much time has passed since the first ep of Gotham anyway?

Only a year. But people or overlooking his RAGE being brewed.... He told Theo once he finds the killer of his parents he was going to PERSONALLY kill them. You see how he reacted by firing ALFRED over the computer and how he reacted just last night's episode when he learned the papers were in the fire. Dude is showing those SIGNS.... Y'all just want him to be in COMPLETE BATMAN mode right now. Be honest.

The problem is Bruce isn't yet controlled emotionally, and isn't disciplined... THOSE TAKE TIME. Nobody told him not to sign, but he was tempted because his emotions got the best of him and his RAGE wanted to ensure he will find his killer so he can kill him. He's not YET seen the full picture and learning. Even learning about Theo at the end is going to develop him into Batman, because he not won't trust anyone which is how Batman is now.

It's more so that Bruce is running behind Silver/Selena and being played with left and right.

But I can see everyone's point. You would never see me smile if I saw someone kill my parents in cold blood.

I guess we are expecting him to be more ruthless but I guess it'll take time.

Hopefully this show is on long enough to show his transitioning more, with the last episode becoming him actually turning into the batman for good

I have no problem with Bruce's portrayal. U think a spoiled rich kid that lost his parents is supposed to man up and become the dark and brooding adult like he turns into just like that?:heh:

And as far as my comic book knowledge goes, they never went in depth on how Bruce was as a child, so why are dudes up in arms claiming he should be a certain way? He ain't Batman yet nikkas :mjlol:

It is dope on how they highlight how bright the kid is. He does become one of the world's top detectives :ehh:
Because they want that kid to be a miniature Batman...they want him to be ice cold, a master of hand-to-hand-combat and the world's greatest detective at the ripe old age of 13-14.

I think y'all gotta understand Bruce is still green, he's learning the ways of the world still. Plus Alfred is teaching him boxing, I think after this past episode, Bruce will realize Alfred was ultimately right and he will dedicate himself to becoming what he needs to be to cure Gotham of its ills.
