Same reason Theo doesn't just drop Master Wayne on sight. Galavant's nothing if not a showman. It's partially about the spectacle for him. He probably wants Penguin to know he outsmarted him before he drops him.

Noooo...Theo has to turn Bruce over to that Friar muthafucca; he can't just drop him.
Galavant is making boss moves, but he's a worker himself...

It seems Fox's Gotham has added another bad guy to its already teeming roster, as Scottish actor Tommy Flanagan (Sin City, Sons of Anarchy, Peaky Blinders, Gladiator) has joined the cast of the show as a hitman known as The Knife.

Tommy Flanagan himself confirmed that he'd joined the cast of Gotham early last month with the below Tweet, but now Comicbook.com has found out which character he'll be playing: it seems Mr. Flanagan will be bringing life to yet another villain, as he'll appear as a vicious but charming contract killer named The Knife.

Here's the site's description of The Knife, who would seem to be a character created just for the show. "The Knife is one of Gotham’s most dangerous denizens. His charming, stylish shell and good humor mask a remorseless hitman whose skills are at the service of the highest bidder. He will sit with you, laugh with you, and then cut your throat."

Apparently Flanagan will make his debut in episode 10 of Gotham, which continues tonight.

Penguin jumping out of the window that's 2' off the ground :heh: fukkery starting early
"If we cut to commercial right after he jumps out the window the audience won't think about how a cripple guy gets away from two people with guns 10 feet away from him"
And am I the only one that can't wait for these Tabitha and Barbara chicks to get killed slow already?

Behind You
This episode was great.
Tigress killing Penguins mom.
Penguin coming back like a boss looking for revenge.
Bruce in a love triangle without even knowing it.
Selina gonna fukk Silver up when that time comes though.
Gordon knowing Galavant is the bad guy.
And the birth of The Riddler!
That last scene with Nygma basically embracing the Riddler's pathology and greatest weakness...his need to leave clues around that could get him caught.
I enjoyed the first season of this show for being wacky but Season 2 is just a purely good TV show.
