This show isn't keeping WB from making any of the shows you mentioned though.
And cookie cutter is really not a fitting description of a show as weird as Gotham.
I find the show bizarrely entertaining but I also am not judging it based on preconceived notions or assumptions of what the show is supposed to be.

You mean you sat down and watched a show and judged it for what it was and what they said it would be, not for what you want it to be or assumed it would be, disregarding all information provided to you?

Somebody mentioned it before I think it was @chris brown but the show could have been better executed had they focus on the rise of Penguin season one and hinting at other stories developing and leading to the following seasons.
