They released this extremely lowbudget webseries in its entirety on DVD but they still havent released Static Shok and have no plans to.
They released Zeta on DVD despite it being poorly received and not watched at all.

th
Hardcore DC fans don't even know who the fukk zeta is.

Static Shock is among the most popular shows to ever be canceled.
They wouldn't put out toys for it cause they didn't want black characters to have toys. Then they cancelled it despite it being litterally one of the most popular shows they had on their entire network at the time. Now decades later they won't even release it on DVD. Its the only part of the entire DCAU that hasn't been released on DVD to date. When the WB cancelled Static Shock it was the #1 show they had in the 9 to 14 demographic. The only show doing better than Static Shock with boys 9 to 14 on any channel was Pokemon. But they still wont release it on DVD.
:mindblown:

Straight racist. DC has always been racist. They don't care about black characters and have never pushed for anything black.
Everything they have ever done to portray a black person in any positive light can litterally be traced back to a single man (Dwayne McDuffie) from Static Shock to writing GL on Justice League to making Vixen stop bedwenching... etc.
Now that McDuffie is deceased the DC roster is as white as it was in the 1930s. I simply can't fukk with DC as a company.

Static Shock - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Static Shock was an extremely popular show, granting its new renewal for a second season just a month after its debut.[13] As of December 2000, it was the highest-rated pre-teen—from 2 to 11 years—show among all networks on its timeslot, and the third best on the Kids' WB! lineup.[13][37] From its debut to July 2003, the show secured the second post among boys aged 6 to 11 years.[38] Ratings increased after Richie's character obtained superhero powers; McDuffie affirmed that this is what secured the renewal for a new season.[6] Indeed, the show's third season was its most popular and was the second best-rated Saturday morning program among boys aged 6 to 11 years, and tweens and male tweens aged 9 to 14.[39] From February to April 2003, ratings regularly performed over the 4.0 stake among the public aged 9 to 14 years;[40] it even reached the 6.4 mark in May.[41] Static Shock's last season was only surpassed by the children's anime Pokémon, and the show's reruns on Cartoon Network were only surpassed by the adult animated sitcom Family Guy.[6] Static Shock was the only program on Cartoon Network to be among the top 30 most watched kids shows in a week of October 2004.[42] It was also the best rated program of the channel among kids on a week of January 2005,[43] and the best rated show on Cartoon Network's Miguzi block as of March 2005.[44] For the 2004–05 season, it was the 18th most watched Saturday morning children's show of all networks.[45] Static Shock was ultimately cancelled due to the low production of associated merchandising products.[6]

The Zeta Project? Nobody liked that shytty show.

And Warner's treatment of Static Shock isn't racist; it is the same situation as when they canceled Young Justice...the a$$holes only care about toy sales and if your cartoon aint selling toys then they kill it.

Gotham Girls was one the very first webseries I remembered seeing.
I had no concept of shows being only online and not on tv back in 2000. It was crazy... New Adventures of Batman/Superman would go off... then you could hop online and watch more cartoons that were unaired.

:blessed: Same animation, same voice actors, same writing... just 15 frames per second and 2 mins instead of 20 mins.
Like snacks instead of a meal.

And it was interactive so you could click on stuff while the episode played :gladbron:

Homie I just found out about Gotham girls yesterday when I was writing something about Tara strong. I need to play catch up

:dwillhuh: For real??!!

wait are we talking about Margot or Tara because Margot is bad as hell. :ohlawd:

Tara..Margot too. Tara dressed as Harley for comic con

If Johns is okaying this he needs to be fired.
Only way I can see this is with a 30 mil budget max, but I doubt they will player her like the villain which kills everything to me.
