again that's the thing, IF suicide squad hits. in the post BVS era all bets are off. right now all they have are some cool trailers. if the movie bombs then what... all this planning was for nothing?

make a hit movie first, THEN they can follow up with the sequel talk.

Planning isn't a bad thing though. Nothing is officially set in stone. In the era of Hollywood we live in now where everybody is looked at as franchise material, I'm sure everyone has preliminary talks for possible sequels. I mean one of the reasons people were so behind Marvel was the fact they had entire phases of movies planned out. Granted they came out of the gate strong with Iron Man though. Plus I can't knock Margot Robbie for getting behind the character and going to WB with a spin-off idea .

Interesting, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman were dope in the TAS and if they are any resemblance to those versions, that would be piff...

commit to sequels and franchises before you know what reception is gonna be towards your movie brehs.

I know it is the cool thing to act like MOS and BvS were flops but those two movies made bank so its not unreasonable for WB to greenlight other properties. And its not all that uncommon to do it even when there is nothing to base the gamble off of.
I guess people have forgotten that Marvel released two movies months apart at the start of their journey to becoming the box office juggernaut they are now: Iron Man and Incredible Hulk.
Considering how the Hulk tanked I guess Marvel should have folded up their tent and gotten out of the comic book movie biz.
