Ain’t nooo justice system

How do you expect to get tried by your peers when you are too lazy to go to jury duty? If you ever are on trial and the jury is nothing like you, do you deserve it at that point

They sent me a jury letter on 4 different occasions, I sent them the same jury excuse email back, has been deferred every time.

Best part about living in a liberal community (types of places with BLM banners and rainbows flags in yards instead of Trump Pence signs, and american flags)
You don't get selected for jury duty living in those areas, they avoid us in the courtroom because they're afraid we won't take the police officers side on principle.

Ehhh... you'd think. I live a liberal county. The first and only time I went to trial is when I straight up told the judge to his face that the judicial system isn't about finding "justice" and the state always boxes certain demographics into taking plea deals. In one of those "interviews" you go through when the lawyers are selecting the jury. Cac tried to argue criminal legal theory before he stopped himself. I thought he was going to dismiss me but both the defendant and prosecution lawyers were cool with me being in the jury.

Every other time I went jury duty and got interviewed, they'd reject me right away because I would play a character. The one time I got honest they had me sit on a murder trail

Even if you don't vote, as long as you have a State ID, you'll get put in the jury lottery

I get jury letters every 3-4 years. I got one Grand Jury last year and a county court one this year. Didn't have to go in though
