Just signed up for CDL class at a community college. The next 3 months of my life are gonna be work during the day and school at night and weekends . Gonna get the hazmat/tanker and try getting on with Schneider
Aight so I've been working for a small company driving straight truck tankers around Atlanta. I finally got fed up with the company last Monday so I hopped in my car (quit on they bytchass) and went down to UES in Peachtree City applied there, left and went to a company in East Point to talk to people and check up on my application I put in a couple of weeks prior. The terminal manager and I started talking he asked if I had a year experience OTR, I said no but I have been driving a straight truck locally and I did 5 years in the Air Force driving tankers. This mans eyes lit up and he damn near choked on his cigarette and said don't worry about a thing you're good (He's a Navy Vet). Remember this was on Monday, on Wednesday I did my road test and my DOT physical, urinalysis and company strength test. I went back to terminal and they offered me the job.
So in 1 week I went from making $1500 bi weekly to at least $1500 a week
