Beyonce is crazy in love with Michelle Obama
Beyonce speaks about supporting Barack Obama. “I wrote a letter to the first lady because I wanted her to know that I’m very grateful for everything she’s doing for our country and also for women around the world,” Beyonce explains.
Girls run the world?
Beyonce sure thinks so.
A love letter to First Lady Michelle Obama written by Beyonce this spring is now being featured in a campaign video for President Obama. In the handwritten letter first posted to her website in April, Bey calls the first lady “the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.”
“I wrote a letter to the first lady because I wanted her to know that I’m very grateful for everything she’s doing for our country and also for women around the world,” Beyonce explains in the video.
Beyonce’s admiration isn’t one sided.
Obama took her two daughters to Beyonce’s concert in Atlantic City in May. And when the first lady was asked by People magazine which celebrity’s life she would most like to have, Obama picked Beyonce.
"If I had some gift, I’d be Beyonce," Michelle Obama said. "I'd be some great singer."
Mutual admiration: The two women have praised one another publicly, and Mrs Obama has attended two of Beyonce's concerts with her daughters
