In an office setting, I have witnessed many situations where this would have been the acceptable resolution. People talking slick behind people's backs, lying on their coworkers, all because they felt comfortable that there would be no consequences or repercussions. I had this one cat in my department when I was working at this boutique law firm back in NY, he lied on this cat in the mailroom, to the point where they was threatening to fire dude. Dude in my department was Puerto Rican, and actually grew up around the way in BK, but had gotten soft after moving out to Long Island. One day after work, he left to catch the LIRR, but came running back upstairs because he saw mailroom homie posted up outside with some of his peoples (he was just waiting for one of the mailroom broads to come out to put her on to his mans) 
He told me that it shouldn't have come to this, and he was actually wanting to call the police. I told him that son wasn't about to line him up in midtown Manhattan during the height of rush hour, but, even if he was, that's how these things get resolved around the way.... Niiggaz move and talk different when there is a threat of consequences on the back end.

This is actually a very very good idea just makes sure no ones exempt(colleagues,bosses etc..
) from the ass whopping.

Expect a racist cac to abide by rules, laws, and act like a decent human being during or after a fight.
Expect the law to operate judiciously on your side in such a scenario.
Expect people to fight fairly and normally when that shyt already doesn't happen, especially when already a lot of people don't know how to box.
People out here thinking boxing matches are real life and that people will enter into a fight with good intentions. The naivety of the coli on full display.
How exactly will somebody get murdered if there's a referee and officers on standby?

I got this one coworker that cac'd his way onto my team after a few MONTHS when it took the rest of us years, and he's WORTHLESS.... real life imposter

Because the cops and the ref won't do their fukking job correctly and stop shyt in time.
Because someone like you would get knocked out and hit the ground wrong and die.
Because inspecting gloves won't stop someone from throwing a kick and a knee strike.
Because this is not a sporting event between two people who are apathetic to each other or trying to make money and is actually between you and someone so angry with you they are resorting to violence.
Fighting in general is never fair, even with all the precautions thrown in. The worst part is what comes afterwards because too many people in general won't leave shyt alone and will always want to get back. That alone makes this pretty unrealistic. Might as well challenge the guy to a game of ping pong.

In all seriousness an actual boxing match between coworkers could get out of hand quick.
With boxing matches between pro fighters and even your local boxing gym, there's a mutual respect there and nothing dirty will happen. If you ever notice many pro fights that don't end in a KO the fighters hug one another after the last round. That's not happening with two coworkers that can't stand one another. Ivan Drago vs Apollo Creed would be common in office settings
not to mention hitting below the belt, etc. Make it MMA rules and things would get UGLY QUICK

Truthfully, I limit how well I know my coworkers. Luckily, my position level exposes "faulty" employees making everyone HYON.

Word of advice to brothers on here at work stay professional avoid idle chit chats , you are there to work not socialize, clock in and clock out and leave all that other bs and drama aside, we see this racists are eager to report black people and use any little way to get black folks in trouble
