The MPC "workflow" isn't easy if you've never used one. I came from FL studio and most people know the FL studio workflow is like butter . Now I moved on from the FL and is now on machine and it work flow is butter. MPC workflow dosent have a learning curve but from many I know say it's sooo rewarding when you figure it out . shyt I had the studio black just as a controller and still downloaded the manual . I really don't like reading the manual to this shyt I just want to figure it to a degree.
I have the machine mk3 and the only thing I will get next to go along side it is the boss sp 303 . I've been wanting to learn it that is I like how it has an old school vibe and just sound beautiful.
As far a being a mobile produce I do want to learn the MPC work flow so I will probably get the app once I get an ipad(I heard madlib uses this app as well
) . The only other app I might get is beat maker 3. I like to have the most minimalistic approach to making music I don't need a whole bunch of shyt. I have a turntable and old vinyl and that pretty much it...and an all in one computer but I'm going to build a new PC soon .
