Is the workflow that much different than the old MPCs?

The MPC "workflow" isn't easy if you've never used one. I came from FL studio and most people know the FL studio workflow is like butter . Now I moved on from the FL and is now on machine and it work flow is butter. MPC workflow dosent have a learning curve but from many I know say it's sooo rewarding when you figure it out . shyt I had the studio black just as a controller and still downloaded the manual . I really don't like reading the manual to this shyt I just want to figure it to a degree.

I have the machine mk3 and the only thing I will get next to go along side it is the boss sp 303 . I've been wanting to learn it that is I like how it has an old school vibe and just sound beautiful.

As far a being a mobile produce I do want to learn the MPC work flow so I will probably get the app once I get an ipad(I heard madlib uses this app as well :jbhmm:) . The only other app I might get is beat maker 3. I like to have the most minimalistic approach to making music I don't need a whole bunch of shyt. I have a turntable and old vinyl and that pretty much it...and an all in one computer but I'm going to build a new PC soon .

Oh ok. I got started on the 2000XL. Part of their appeal is how easy they are to use. I'd hope they wouldn't make the software all weird and complicated
It's kind of complicated for me because I'm coming from the Maschine..... honestly if I get more time with this shyt I can fukk with it

Once I figured out how to record a sequence it was pretty easy going forward. Everyone's different though. I personally can't stand the Maschine software

Gotta be some YouTube tutorials on it
Yea I found a pretty good one that explains sample chopping.

What u can do in Maschine with one step takes like 3-4 steps on the mpc....I'm not knocking it I just can't wait to get to learn this shyt

Never used a Ren but i've had other MPCs and Yes, reading certain parts of the manual is mandatory. Not all of it.

A lot of menu diving with MPCs, so you need to learn your way around. Arranging sequences is a bit of a chore too.
