It's interesting though; Gang Ryong's master was portrayed as a villanous man who wanted absolute power to himself – but fell to his cronies. Yet in Venom Hand's mind he was a wise man who seemed to know that searching for power for power's sake was foolish at best.

Will never forget those words: "Seek only power and you'll break when you encounter an even greater power."

More insight into the Gang Ryong's master the OG. :wow:

This chapter was a really good development. It showed a divided old man who'd give his disciple contradictory orders in his dementia. A part of him wanted the betrayers murdered (the four emperors); the other part just wanted Gang Ryong to not get caught up in the pointless world of fighting because it begets more fighting only.

This chapter was pivotal I think.
