No, I stand by what I said. A humanoid shark with all cartilage for bones would be weak as fukk. Yeah, bones might not break when he's getting rocked but the shark would have no power fighting a gorilla and would just get torn to shreds easier.

nah, that means it would have absolutely no strength as the muscles would have no rigid structure to attach to. This is why you don't see land animals with cartilage for bones, they have to carry their weight unlike aquatic animals.
