An ankle fracture means that the bone has been put under enough stress to the point that it gives way and gets broken instead of just sprained. Depending on if he needs surgery or not it could take up to if not over 8 weeks before the bone starts to really heal, and then it'll be months after that before he gains the full range of safe motion back in the ankle. Then you need to add however many weeks/months it'll take to actually get back into NBA shape and conditioning after coming back from the healing and rehab.
And that's all operating under the assumption it's a nice clean break with no additional ligament tears. You saw how his ankle was twisted to side all nasty? Chances are he tore something along with the broken bone coming down like that; which means you're looking at even more time for recovery and rehab than what I said before.
Every person and injury like this is different so you never know but I'd be amazed if he laced up to play real NBA minutes anytime before at least a year from now. 99% chance his season is over unfortunately.
