The best Idea about the H1-B visa issue I've heard is that we should require companies to hire them at competitive wages relative to the american market. That way we can really test whether its an issue about finding "talented workers' here in the US or if its really about the cost. We know its the latter but make companies own it.

They ask the Democrats in a way that forces yes to be honest. Solving the problem is much more complicated than a dumb ass wall. Trade deals and helping the other countries helps everybody. War on drugs ending helps a lot.Why can't the Democrats have the Republicans immigration stance.
