I know you hate talking about this topic, but...

1. Did you vote? / Why didn't you vote?
1a. Who did you vote for?

1. No and for two reasons: 1. I'm against majoritarian representative democracy as a system of political organization, for reasons that I'm really not going to get into (I've posted about them all over the board, and I'm already in one rabbit hole argument with BarNone. No reason to get into another). 2. I lived in a different city in the state than I'm currently living in, and didn't re-register. I'm unsure if I will or not before 2016, especially since I might be moving back to that district before then (not that I'd even vote then, really).

1a. If I would have had half a mind to vote, I might have actually abstained from voting in the presidential election: The only candidate even worth a quarter of a shyt wasn't on the ballot in Ohio. I'd have given more consideration to things like school levies and the like, but again, not exempt from my deep dislike of majoritarian representative democracy.

I hope you're not going to say that just because I didn't vote, I have no right to complain or something like that.

I've probably fukked more women from Michigan than you have, so kill that.

Not really. Actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't the case. But I have been inside Michigan quite a bit...

Nah, I wouldn't argue with you on that point. We've done that. You already know that I agree with a lot of what you say in principle, but don't see how it would work in application. I had statistics once about decision-making in majoritarian systems vs. the proportional system in Europe. In many cases the winner takes all system actually makes it so that more interests are served. Just because they are part of the winning coalition. But that's for another day....besides....you're from Ohio...I can't converse with you further....see below

I mean, breh is entitled to his opinion. He's not fairly off to call out the callous injustice that runs in the flawed American Political system. Now that I truly reminisce on the whole presidential election from a more "mature" look, than the past, it's almost as if the road to presidency is nothing more than an entertainment facade. Either way, I'm happy to see a more diverse political system emerge(minority vote ; scaring the "majority"). Hopefully we can get some more blacks into office.

With the current restructuring and bickering among the GOP, maybe they'll be room for a real prominent and "truly" progressive party to emerge.

I guess it's finally getting over here after all...only took 20 years or so.

Dude resembles Sly Stallone. But yeah, there has been some dissatisfaction within the GOP, in part because some people feel the party has gone too far right.

Lol...What is up with all this stupid MI vs. OH beef? They're similar states...midwestern, blue collar, rustbelt. Does it all stem from the Michigan vs. Ohio St. football rivalry?
