Predictable but still enjoyed this shyt brehs

When Hannah went in that book, shyt was like Titanic

But I've read to much R.L Stine shyt to know my nikka cooked something up to bring her back

Where have I seen this before? Looks too familiar.

It's the 'all these monsters/aliens/demons from some beloved book/show/movie are coming into OUR world and destroying stuff, we have to stop them!' story.

this movie was good low key. i came in expecting a full on assault on my childhood and came away with a decent, watchable and kinda funny flick.. good cgi too for the most part

Writing was surprisingly witty for a kids movie and didn't fall victim to having too many cheesy one liners.

Think I saw the girl in the haunted mask running around as an extra though

A better narrative could've been constructed with said blood, especially using it to fuel the creatures in the expansive word. Instead they made Slappy the main villain due to it being the most popular book. Jack Black for me, has lost his touch but it wasn't completely "unfunny".

surprisingly fun/enjoyable movie, although some of the books were misrepresented and/or not present.

seeing Jonah as a cop had me ...he acted the same he does in Veep.

gonna cop that 3D blu ray down the line.
