thats not how it works :snoop:

you think the founder really funded the whole business on his own? They purchase the shares using cash or their own stock. If a venture capitalist invested 100 Million way back in the day for a 25% stake, theyre getting 505 Million of that 4.2. Then the employees who may have shares are getting their cut too. Etc etc. The Founders probably only own a couple % by themselves. But I digress. Nonetheless dude getting that cake and google stock. He set for life :wow:

It doesn't work that way either. That 25% has been diluted many times over already as the company grows and new shares are issued and sold.

But still. Ya. Everyone is seeing cake from this.

Who needs all these music apps when you got torrents and youtube downloader? :ld:

First off you guys need to realize there are plenty of ppl who still pay for music. Secondly all that torrenting and dowloading shyt is a hassle that ALOT of ppl dont feel like going through. You gotta wait for a dowload, unzip extract into the right folder, import, make sure it's tagged properly, has the album cover, etc...All that for something you just wanted to listen to and may not even like and may even delete right afterwards. Not to mention alot of those sites yall use be fukking nikkas computers up with all the bullshyt ads and shyt they have you accidentally download b/c there's 10 different download buttons.

Lastly, streaming music>>>>>>>downloading, cloud services will be the future. All you need is the app and you dont have to worry about downloading songs on your desktop, laptop, ipod/iphone, ipad, etc. Or you can use another person's device and if they have the app login into your account and have your music.

The first time I used spotify I had to 'dj' a lil house party and I didnt have my laptop with me. Just downloaded spottify onto my homies laptop and was able to search and get EVERY song I wanted to play, put it into a playlist and was good to go. Imagine trying to do this with torrents.
My homie also had it the app on is iphon and we were able queue and play a song from anywhere in the spot.
