It has nothing to do with Andre 3000 protecting his image. Again, when Outkast appeared on Goodie Mob's first album, it was separate songs. I think this was intentional.

Andre 3000 and Big Boi cannot and will not be on songs together unless it is for an OutKast album. Makes perfect sense business wise and in general.

Like "Middle of the Night" sounds like vintage Eightball & MJG, but its a MJG solo featuring Eightball.

I always appreciated how thorough they were with their credits. I'm weird, but I like to know who did what and see people get their proper credit.

It all adds to the final product aye, even knowing where they recorded, who recorded them etc. has always been interesting to me.

ONP completely mix old and new... album starts hard and mellows midway to the end... Cee-Lo translations throughout.
The Andre track cigar is the best on the album, the beat switches are amazing.
The Big Boi track is nice too.
This sounds a little like that Dungeon Family ‘Even In Darkness’ album - as a whole.
