And The prostitutes who are forced into the business or are beaten by their pimps dont go to the police for fear of going to jail. That makes the abuses more likely because their job is illegal.
Serial killers throughout history have gone after prostitutes because they know society doesn't give a crap about them. Like the "war on drugs", the war on prostitution has been an epic failure

Fair enough.
It basically is. A nikka interesting in buying some puss has no problem getting it and rarely if ever faces an sort of legal problems. Police aren't out scouring the streets for ho's...too many nikkas getting killed out here. Only time prostitution is an issue, generally speaking, is when a rich/famous person is involved or someone is trying to use it as an issue to get themselves elected.
