I'm about 200 lbs at 6 one. I'm trying to gain more than anything but at the same time I want to do cardio at least twice a week. What would be a good heart rate?

Started doing cardio because no one I know really hoops like that no more. Hittin around 15 mins on two miles. That alright or garbage?
It's good.
7 minute mile is something to push for. If you can do a 6 minute mile, you are above average.

At my peak, I was 5:30-:6 min mile pace. Older I've gotten (and back/hamstring issues), I'm at 8:05/min.....training for a marathon and could care less about my pace at this point

Its decent... but why are you running? If you're running to get in shape/lose weight, you're doing it wrong.

Run SPRINTS.

Running miles and miles are for people who need to be able to run long distance, period.

You will get in much better shape, much faster by running sprints. Trust me
