will the heavyweight division ever rule boxing again?

Probably not.

It would take a once in a lifetime dude with supreme skills, and a great personality/entertaining, etc to capture the public again.....and then you'd have to find someone else nearly on that level to fight him so that ppl would even care....then you'd have to keep it up.

Only a bro vs bro match would have fans glued to their tv anything outside of that gets :pacspit:........... That's why I feel Wlad would have been smart to take a dive and build Haye up

Where's Don King when you need him:snoop:

foreman's power was ridiculous..prolly the most heavy handed fighter ive ever seen..arm punches and knocking nikkas the fukk out

I still think Earnie Shavers threw harder punches.

I still give the best one punch "snuff" of all time to Hearns putting it on Duran.

You wish to catch a niqqa in the grill like that. Hearns said he felt the energy go from his hand all the way up to his shoulder when he connected on Duran. :damn:

It's wild. There were fighters with so much power who weren't particularly good boxers.

Jackson, Earnie Shavers, David Tua....so much power...just weren't great boxers.

They appear to be arm punches but they weren't, he kept his foot in a square power stance, and he had unusually super long reach 82 in, his reach is actually 2 inches longer than Vitali Klitschko reach, he simply couldn't throw textbook looking shots

V Klit look like he be throwing arm shots too but be sleeping nikkas

What do you experience when you get your bell rung like that? Does your head hurt or do you completely go numb? DO you hear a loud whistling sound? Is all sound around you muffled into one note of garbled confusion?

So Tito power wasn't anything special:ufdup:

Tito ruined career after career with his power, a natural WW and went to MW and brutally ko'ed the champ in Joppy there. There is a reason the granite chinned Oscar decided to run for dear life in a fight he was dominating, and duck a easy 40 million$ rematch

ol earnie..he is slightly overrated because he wasn't a great fighter but so many of the heavies in his era rate him as the hardest puncher

there was an interview i read about an old contender from the 60s-70s named leroy caldwell...dude faced cleveland williams, ron lyle, and george foreman along with ernie...he said the first 3 hit hard but earnie hit harder than all of them combined..jimmy young who was only stopped twice and faced the best said earnie hit him hardest...ali and tex cobb said earnie hit him the hardest...james tillis and larry holmes both faced shavers and mike tyson..they said shavers hit them harder than tyson did..hell of an endorsement

T.O.
That right hand by Hearns was vicious....had Duran looking like Greg Valentine after catching a headbutt..dazed and falling face first...

You don't feel the punch on your your face really, it goes num, cause of adrenaline and all of that, but you do have the feeling feel your legs being detached from your body with no control over them

I have never been slept though, sparred a couple time with friends, a few street fights and got cheap shotted once
