All this cause JJ Reddit couldn't figure out how to steal a couple minutes rest, a standard practice in the NBA for years :picard:
Who knew that giving Bron and Luka a couple minutes more rest would've solved all their issues. You better send that over to the Nuggets too, I'm sure they're looking to solve the conundrum of playing Jokic and Jamal all those minutes.

Who knew that playing DeAndre Jordan and Jalen Pickett more was the key to Denver's success. :ohlawd:

Jokic played 43, so they stole just a couple minutes for him more then Bron/Luka when he literally is the offense. That's all we're asking for. And they don't even have a real coach

Jokic is averaging 42 minutes
Jamal is averaging 42 minutes

Bron is averaging 41 minutes
Luka is averaging 42 minutes.

Both sets of players are averaging the same amount of minutes, respectively. Jokic isn't getting anymore rest than Bron is.

I'm not sure why you're hung up on this belief that stealing 1-2 minutes is going to win them games. It's not going to drastically change the Lakers chances of winning. Bron played 41 minutes in Game 3 (five fewer minutes than he did in Game 4), why wasn't that enough of a rest for the Lakers to win, if that's all it takes is to steal a couple minutes?

It seems rather trivial to argue about 1-2 minutes more rest doesn't it, when it's not even remotely the issue here?

Y’all laker fans got every right to complain :hubie:but as a non laker fan who used to slightly be annoyed by all the LeBron talk about being the best and shyt, I have to acknowledge how incredible dude is as a player. Like dude still balling his ass off and is such a intelligent player. It be looking sad whenever he have games looking old or like when he ain’t catch that ball. (I know that was just a mistake). So given Luka is supposed to be the man, I kinda can’t be as upset as the media might act on some Lebron didn’t take a lot of shots in the 4th quarter . He is shape but he got a different type of fatigue when it hit. Luka the one that gotta step up. Him too, but more Luka. I get annoyed with the whole “LeBron is still doing this at this age” shyt. But honestly it has to be considered when he has moments where he isn’t as active as he used to be. Defensively as well. What ant-man did in that entire 4th quarter is the type of shyt Luka gotta be on for them to win

I agree, it is amazing that he is playing well at this age, but the times you see his age showing is not amazing which is during crucial moments of the game. He should honestly wrap it up and make next season his retirement tour.

Don’t let the Mark Williams myth let you forget that the Wolves played the Hornets in March and Randle, Ant Man, and Jaden each had 25+ :bryan:

The point is that the Lakers have zero front court depth. Mark Williams could’ve played valuable minutes there. Instead, you have Knecht glued to the bench and weak ass Hayes with nobody else. Pelinka screwed that up.

I feel you, but I think he too good still though to retire. But I agree he shouldn’t really have the ball as much as he does at this point in his career. shyt Jason Kidd on Dallas was decent and LeBron still way above that level. He just shouldn’t have to handle the ball as much. That age showing cuz they not keeping his legs fresh. I guess with no big man they can’t afford him on the bench. But yea Luka gotta go in like ant-man been doing. Bro been making critical shots and setting up so many plays for his teammates. He don’t get enough credit for that at all.

Not to mention, using what the T'Wolves did against Mark when he was on the Hornets is disingenious.

The Hornets don't take hoops seriously, let alone play defense, consistently.

And the funny thing about bringing up that game is, in the 24 minutes he played, the Hornets were a +6.

The majority of the damage was done when Mark wasn't on the floor, when the T'Wolves could take advantage of the lineups he wasn't in. The Hornets lost by 15, but still managed to outscore Minny in the minutes that Mark played. Go figure.

To be fair, Lebron does not have the ball in his hands as much as he used to. Luka been taking over the offense while Lebron been taking a back seat.

Luka just been playing way too much iso ball and JJ is not running enough offensive sets. It's like he just wants Luka to play iso ball and that is it. Timberwolves can see what Lakers are trying to do from a mile away which is why they defense is so good right now.

Luka was expected to outplay ant and that’s not happening. Luka needs a lob threat BADLY.
