I don't understand why teams take their foot off the gas in game 2 if they steal homecourt in game 1

It's strategy really. The only time you push harder in game 2 is if your opponent is a young team. Otherwise, let the loser of game 1 show their hand in game 2 which allows for your adjustments in game 3 to seal the win.

Game 4 is the real test.

I don't think Game 2 was ever in doubt for the Lakers. But now that they've made adjustments, The wolves can counter. I expect a game 3 loss for Lakers.

However, depending how game 3 plays out, either Lakers win game 4 or they get blown off the court in game 4 and eventually lose the series.

I think Lakers win in 7.

What's nauseating is that the media will still carry water for him and make excuses.

I cut off Zach Lowe's podcast for the weekend games because when discussing Houston's offensive woes, he went straight to Jalen Green instead of that bum FVV, who's the highest paid player on their team and Green's extension is less than his. I'm tired of these guys having favorites and picking/choosing who to defend/criticize.

Lakers are not winning this series. Don’t let that game 2 fool you. They barely closed that out. Wolves came out lackluster. They won’t do that first game in Minn
