yall heard this jerry jones quote from yesterday?

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sees no reason he should stop serving as the Cowboys’ general manager. In fact, Jones says being both owner and general manager provides an advantage to the Cowboys.

Jones told the Star-Telegram that as the NFL’s only general manager who has 100 percent job security, he can take risks that other general managers would never take.

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

OK, but couldn’t that also be a disadvantage for the Cowboys? Taking losses and coming back for more isn’t exactly the description of a successful franchise.

“I have won with that style,” Jones said.

I wouldn't be surprised. maybe they beat the falcons then get blown out by the hapless eagles. you never know what team is going to show up.

I think they win both. When folks count them out for some reason they actually show up :leon:.

Then they'll lose to the Browns :snoop:

If DeMarco is playing, we winning against the Falcons. We couldnt get that balance against the Giants because Felix was running like shyt. With Murray we can play ball controll offense and hope it dont come down to a last possession.

I have absolutely all the faith in the world in our corners to eliminate the big play. Besides that first big play to Randle in the first possession we pretty much shut down their wideouts against the Giants.

The d-line will have to cause problems for Matt Ryan and hopefully force some turnovers. D-line performance will be crucial. Even though the secondary appears to be better, we cant allow White and Jones time to feast. Establish the run and get Austin and Bryant involved. Witten will come through. Romo cant have multiple turnovers and expect the defense to bail him out.

I'm most worried about the falcons dline and physical secondary. I can easily see things unraveling in that building and romo having another 3-4 interception day. Plus we are 0-7 on sunday night football. :whoo:
