Cowboys are just hopeless. Starting camp later than everybody then goes to a whole notha state. AGAIN.
U would think they would switch things up by now
Never lived down in TX but if the Rangers can't play a lot of day home games this time of year, I don't think the Cowboys wanna hold practices in that kind of heat.

It's better that they get away from Texas and the 110 degree heat. Last year they had training camp in three cities (valley ranch, san antonio, oxnard)....all that moving around was an unnecessary inconvenience. Now they are in Cali in 65 degree weather and their preseason games are out there too so they can settle in and just focus on doing work.
Felix had surgery so I can understand him. Pool is about to get cut without playing a snap if he doesn't get his shyt together. He's already a very average safety but coming into a new situation out of a shape is a no-go for a Garrett led team. I never bought into the Holmes hype.

I hope pool doesn't end up starting.
Do they play home games in Cali? Then they stay losing to division rivals at home. Might as well practice in the heat.
Jerry tryin to make it comfortable for fans to come out. They stay trying to make a show out of everything.
Naw fam you got it all wrong. The circus is in San Antonio. That's where Jerry makes the most money and a lot of the distractions pop up at the Alamadome. If Jerry was all about the bread, he would have kept TC in Texas and saved on the travel costs. Remember two things. When the Cowboys were winning every year in the 60s, 70s, 80s...they were having training camp in Thousand Oaks, CA. Then they took a break from going to Cali and brought it back to Texas. It was Parcells not Jerry who recommended having training camp in Oxnard. Now again it was Jason Garrett who requested we have training camp in Oxnard and only Oxnard, away from the fans, family, friends in Texas. They are all about taking care of business out there.
The 60 degree weather and ocean views doesn't hurt.
I hope Johnson or Church can beat out poole that nicca is extra average
Pool was brought in b/c of his familiarity with Rob's defense but I don't think he makes it to the opening day roster. they'll take four safeties....sensy, church, johnson and btw pool/mccray the better special teams guy will get the last spot.

Jerry is turning camp into a fukkin circus already
