It would seem so... way I look at it he was just a kid from Naples with a heritage that was way over his head of what he was getting into. He killed people but MOSTLY Camorra.

The only one i would say was fukked up was his first murder when he killed that disabled kids father outside of the swimming pool. But he had to do it it was his rite of passage still not defending him on this tho.

He will become like Ciro dipping in n out quietly and slowly killing off people that killed his family and loved ones... probably dying at the end by doing so...

I like him he grew on me in season 4.

really... forgot about that one lol

Idk how his arc gonna end... but I think we will see him transformimg into a more ruthless guy and we will see that he wasn’t Ciro’s apprentice for nothing

Valerio's death already broke him but i think his girls death he reached a point of no return. Ciro knew what he was doing hell become a nightmare for Capaccios and fat boy the next season.

The only reason the Don didn’t put two and two together was because his idiot son crashed his motorcycle and had the Don panic.

:skip: I don't think so since he had time to think about it and put it together while in prison lol As far as Pietro was concerned Ciro was solid because he thinks he's close to his son. Bookie pretty much got bodied for talking crazy. When Pietro exposed him as the rat Zechinetta, Malammo and the rest of the old guard were all :usure: :patrice: these are the dudes that came up with Pietro and none of them thought to suspect Ciro.

This is why Attilio was telling Ciro to watch his mouth.

Nah in a situation like that be fukked up and tried lying, personally he got off lucky because we saw what that paranoid ass Don does to people he doesn’t trust.:picard:

Is Who the rat is addressed in later seasons? Maybe I missed something but it was Ciro right?

It was Ciro...at the end of the episode he burns the paper with the contact # within the anti-mafia police.

Took me seeing it a couple times to piece that together tbh.

Just a few random thoughts about the whole season:
- the decline in quality from season 1/2 is apparent but this is still the best crime show around

-I feel really sorry for the Levante daughter. She is a kind girl trapped in a family/world of psychopaths.

-they did the same mistake with Valerio that they did with Conte, they should have kept him around longer.

-for some reason I really liked the Cappacio brothers. They are the very definition of failing upward. They got their asses kicked in season 3 but ended up taking over the Arenella and Stregone's territories and people. Got their asses kicked at the start of season 4 and then used by the Levantes but then took over Forcella. Now Crazy is dead but Elia rules all of Naples except Secondigliano. I can't wait to see what happens next season, he'll probably take a few Ls but end up ruling the whole of Campania.:heh:

-the violence seems to have gone down a notch

- in real life there's no way the Levantes would have let Genny walk out of their farm alive in ep 12.
-whats the point of Gennaro hiding in a bunker if every idiot in his crew knows where the bunker is.:snoop:

-the writers' hand is becoming more and more obvious and the inconsistencies are getting harder to ignore:

-one minute the clans are all powerful and enormously rich, the next they are no more than street gangs that can't scrape together a few hundred thousand euros or can't wait a month without product.

-why is the whole of Naples still depending on Genny for coke? He had a competitive advantage with the Honduran coke, but he lost that to the Federation at the start of season 3. It makes no sense that the "System" is depending on a Russian for coke. Coke flows from west to east, not the other way around. If anything the Cappacios should have inherited either the Honduran connection or Stregone and Avitabile's Calabrian friends. In real life the Calabrians are by far the biggest suppliers in Europe.

-the whole thing with Genny asking for Mistral's help makes no sense. What, he couldn't get a few guys to shoot AK 47s at a car by himself?
They hint that Mistral is a legendary old timer who is doing life. So what?
Both Stregone and Don Aniello are also legendary old timers, and they were actually on the street and had their crews intact. Mistral's underling mentions that "all his friends abandoned him", so his organization can't be anything but a remnant.
Why would Genny feel strong enough to take on the Levantes(who seem to be universally feared) and their Sicilian friends?

what Russian were they getting coke from? I can’t remember...which episode do they show this?

I actually had no problem with her this season. Even though she couldn't get with Genny keeping himself tethered to Camorra business she never tried to sabotage him. She was also right about Patri's lame ass.
I thought at one point they were trying to build her into a Immacolata Savastano type of character, especially when she charged up Patri at the boutique. Seemed like she was getting a little power hungry, but overall she's a good sidekick for Genny.
