I felt the same. There are some scenes that had me without nothing really happening. I think it's because it's gritty as fukk and you really can't root for anyone on the show. Straight

I have to say it looks really good. The acting is top notch. And unlike The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, it seems there's going to be very little family/existential shyt like Margaret fukkery or Carmella's infatuation with Furio.
The bulk of the story is about two Camorra families beefing. Lots of scheming and lots of shooting.
