This actually makes sense, because Froch is a bigger draw than Ward.
Guys like Froch & Chavez Jr can dictate terms on GGG, so if he wants to fight them, he has to agree to everything. He doesn't really have to do that with Ward.
This is a business first, sport second. Fighters chase the money.
I feel the same way if GGG wants Canelo, Cotto, or Mayweather. They are gonna dictate & drain him. It's all about gaining an advantage.
