I'm gonna assume you're not dyslexic.

I SAID....

The situation's are NOT identical. Yes KD went to an amazing team and LeBron went to a lottery one.

HOWEVER...

Since YOU are talking about the "easy way" to championships, I am pointing out that LeBron absolutely chose the easy way to a ring by teaming up with Wade and Bosh. So the fact you're sitting here talking about KD taking the easy way like your favorite player didn't do that shyt TWICE just looks a little funny. EVERYONE knew Miami was winning multiple championships.

LeBron was so confident Miami was gonna steamroll everyone that he said he's winning 7+ championships there during the introduction party. Come on breh. LeBron knew what time it was. Put the fanboy-ism aside for a second and be reasonable. Both took the easiest path to a ring available to them. Period.

both times lebron switched he joined up with 2 other multiple time all stars under 30. the core of the contenders he was looking to beat, boston first time around and spurs 2nd time around were both on their last legs. both moves were meant to get him multiple rings knowing he had a longer window than the other current contenders. gs was the only place durant could go where he'd be on a team with the most multiple time all stars under 30 in the league and have a longer window than the other current contenders.

Please. If he wanted the "easy way" to a championship, Chicago was a far deeper, better all-around team with better coaching, and most commentators said so at the time. Lebron chose Miami because it was the way to get with bff Wade and catch Bosh at the same time, not because it was the best team available. They literally had no point guard, no center, no coach, and no way of getting any of them.

How far would a lineup of old Bibby-Wade-Bosh-Haslem-Joel Anthony make it in the playoffs. 1st round? Maybe 2nd round? Meanwhile, Durant is joining a Curry-Klay-Iggy-Green lineup that just made back-to-back Finals and won 7 out of 13 games. There is no comparison.

People thought that Lebron was going to win championships with Wade/Bosh because they'd already been thinking that he was going to win championships with freaking Mo and Z. He obviously was taking a big step up for the trash heap that was the Cavs, but that didn't make it "easy". As I already pointed out to you, the GMs didn't even pick Miami to win that first year. It was Lebron, the #2 SG, an all-star PF who couldn't crack the top five among power forwards, and no one else.

Durant could have joined the Clippers (CP3-Griffin-DeAndre-Crawford), he could have joined the Spurs (Kawhi-TP-Aldridge-Green), he could have joined Miami (Wade-Whiteside-Dragic-Deng)...or he could have stayed with MVP-candidate Westbrook and a beasting front line - any one of them would have been great teams that would have been in the title mix. He chose what was already literally the best team in the country and joining up with the reigning MVP.

LeBron + Wade + Bosh > Whatever Chicago could do. Screw all that noise about depth and better coaching. He went with the 3 surefire superstars over depth, and he chose right.

And I can't find a single odds website that didn't have Miami being the strong favorite to win it all, so Ima need the receipts on GMs not picking them to win :manny:

Except the "three stars with crap coaching and weak positions" model isn't what wins championships. Good coaching and no weaknesses is.

Look at 2014 spurs, 2011 mavs, and 2004 pistons for obvious "depth beats stars" teams. But literally EVERY champion in modern ball had a great coach at the helm...unless they had Lebron. Literally EVERY champion going a lot of years back had a strong player who could fulfil his role at every position...unless they had Lebron.

Heck, even good teams with 3 stars and coaching/depth like the 2008 Lakers, 2010 celtics or the 2016 warriors, they have their least important starter go down, and they go down. No one was winning with the desicated corpse of Mile Bibby at the point. You won't even find another champ with a pg even as bad as Chalmers. No one was winning with Joel Anthony at center. Or Birdman. Or Spolstra at coach. The Heat had THREE weaknesses that would have been fatal for anyone without a Lebron.

Meanwhile, Chicago could trot out Rose-Deng-Lebron-Gibson-Noah AND a deep bench of defensive monsters AND a highly regarded coach. That was a team without serious weaknesses. Whatever small drop off you get from Wade/Bosh to Rose/Deng, you way more than make up with Gibson/Noah over Bibby/Anthony....and THEN a miles better bench....and THEN the coach.

Thanks for the link. I roll with Vegas over GMs burned by the fact LeBron chose not to go to their team, but touche.

All these paragraphs you're typing are irrelevant and a waste of time though, because I not once said LeBron and KD's situations were identical, yet ya'll fanboys CONTINUE to speak to me as if I did. What I said was LeBron going to the Heat was a guaranteed championship situation. I said nothing more or less. Everyone knew it. We knew it. LeBron knew it. To deny such comes off EXTREMELY disingenuous and lame. To think three hall of famers in their primes all coming together and sacrificing personal stats wasn't because they were chasing a ring, you are not being real. At all.

And that's the last time I'm going to address it, because I just keep repeating myself over and over again.

Zaza averaged 2.4 fouls in 26 minutes per game last year with the Mavericks. Now, Andrew Bogut. That is a human foul

West had the highest mid range shooting percentage in the game (minimum 100 attempts), shot 54% from the post and is a strong passer

try again
fukk outta here with numbers..

Zasa is a bum and will be a non factor. fukk your stats..

David West is finished. He's a goon with a nice mid range jumper but he no longer can do the other things at a high level..
