One of the best shows on television IMO. Great writing, a brilliant all around cast that is genuinely funny and it’s touching on a heavy topic of public education. Specifically in a black school in Philly. It kind reminds of Parks & Rec in a lot of ways, has that light heartedness to it.
And a show that’s needed I think. Black shows like this almost don’t exist anymore and we need black shows with great writing portraying black positivity and excellence.
Shoutouts to Abbot Elementary. EXTREMELY DESERVED
