you're thinking about "Marvel" just being physical fighters like Hulk and Thor. You have to take into account telepaths, people that have magic powers, gods, entities that are like the manifestation of a concept like Death or Eternity. Some characters can time travel and kill off the first saiyan at birth. There are characters like protege' that can copy powers, he would just see goku and vegeta using their powers and he's instantly right there with them doing saiyan shyt. Like there's too much shyt in Marvel that Goku and Vegeta would have to deal with. Not just "fighters".

Marvel. Despite all of their power ups, DragonBall character's abilities are still represented in the same way; big energy blasts, super speed, strength, and durability.

They aren't versatile enough to counter the everything that everyone in Marvel can throw at them, and the few times they have encountered more esoteric abilities like mind control, and matter and time manipulation come off like parlor tricks compared to the shyt that even Earth-based Marvel characters have done.

That said, they do very well for themselves when going up against other characters with similar skill sets.
