So far this week I have made posts featuring Brazilian, Colombian, Panamanian and Eritrean women...for some reason the only thread getting backlash is this one.

Im pretty close to the Eritrean communtiy in Australia because of my volunteer work. Its really fuked up in Erirea. One of my friends who migrated from Eritrea a few years ago had his whole family abducted by the police just because they were protesting. He hasnt seen them for 5 years. They keep prisoners in ship containers in the desert, the prison system basically operates as a torture apparatus for the state. Every Eritrean knows someone in their family who has either been in a torture camp or was killed by the government. Even Eritrean diasporans who protest against their government recieved threats from the regime, and because they still have family back home in Eritrea, the government has leverage over them. Which is why many Eritreans fear raising their voices in the west.
